What We Offer
Medtech Building
This project required the replacement of old, defective glazing that both leaked and was energy inefficient. Careful planning was required to work around the facility's tight production schedule where downtime wasn’t an option.
University Library
This job required us to replace a defective glazing panel in the library’s main curtain walled facade. To complete the installation we used mechanical lifts, including a telescopic boom and battery-powered suction pads. Scheduling was important as we had to work around the University's busy academic programme and Galway’s regular rainy days.
Garda Regional HQ
This two year project included the installation of curtain walling, glazed roof lights and aluminum windows and doors into the iconic Garda’s North Western Regional Headquarters in Galway City. It included bespoke aluminum flashing on the roof lights. The project was delivered on schedule and within budget.
Medtech Building
We installed a four part A-rated double glazed rooflight in the typical ‘hockey-style’ shape to one of Galway’s busiest medical production facilities. Careful planning was required to work around the facility's round-the-clock schedule. The roof light solution was a custom-design based to meet the very specific requirements.
Science Centre & Campus Restaurant
This technically challenging project required us to solve several glazing leaks in a recently installed glazing system, including replacing several roof lights. The job took six weeks to complete.
Intreo Centre
We retrofitted a fire exit door into an existing fully glazed section of Galway’s iconic Intreo Centre, the central coach station. The job required special attention to the continuous pedestrian traffic around the busy bus services. We completed the job in a day with minimal business interruption.
Engineering Building
The University of Galway asked us to replace a cracked glazing panel in the glass facade on the Engineering Building. Using a mechanical lift and a battery-powered suction pad we removed the old panel from the spider glazing mount replacing it with a new double-glazed, low U-value glazed panel.
